New blog, once more

I’m definitely a slightly inconsistent person xD

This is, roughly, the third iteration of a personal webpage that I do. The previous one (should be accesible from the top menu) was really cool, but unfortunately, a bit unwieldy too…

Iquickly realized that I was not using it as often, simply, because changing anything involved a lot of HTML, and that’s really tiring. It’s not that much work, to be fair, but it becomes friction. It gets in the way of writting. And if I have learned anything in my life, is that my brain has a huge inertia. Like a wrecking ball, when it gets going is unstoppable, but it takes way to much effort to get started.

I guess it’s the same reason that has made all of those social media walled gardens so popular. And in a way, it’s probably for the better that we can focus more on the content, on what we want to say, that on copying that animated glitter background tile image… Wow, that must be a first for me, I don’t defend social media often xD

But in any case, I feel like having true control over this place is worth some friction. Just not as much as I had before. It’s still going to be a simple and light text blog, with no ads, no patreon, no support me, just a simple old style page on the web…
